These meticulously crafted reductions are designed to address common challenges faced by conductors in gaining practical experience and advancing their careers in music. They provide valuable opportunities for both emerging and seasoned conductors to rehearse with musicians in a variety of settings, including workshops, classes, and live performances.

Arranged for piano sextet (2 violins, viola, cello, bass, and piano), these reductions aim to facilitate access to a core ensemble while minimizing logistical and financial obstacles. For added flexibility, the works may also be performed by a piano quintet (2 violins, viola, cello, and piano) using an included piano ossia. In both configurations, the string players perform their original orchestral parts.

After years of creating similar arrangements for conducting workshops, we present these concert-quality reductions to address many observed barriers in gaining valuable conducting experience and advancing professionally in music. These pieces are arranged for piano sextet (2vln, vla, cello, bass, and piano) but can also be performed with piano quintet (2vln, vla, cello, and piano) with the added piano ossia. In both cases, original orchestral parts should be used for the strings.

By creating arrangements for smaller ensembles, we hope to simplify the process of finding a core group of musicians and reduce overall costs. We hope to provide more opportunities for both aspiring and veteran conductors to practice directly with musicians in multiple settings, including conducting workshops, classes, and performances.

Our music is printed on 9x12-inch opaque paper specifically selected for its warm shade to reduce eye strain and improve readability. Professionally bound and prepared, our editions are made to lie flat and stay there. The 104/gsm paper is approximately 20% thicker than standard copier paper. These factors were carefully considered to allow you to enjoy editions of the classics created to provide the utmost precision and clarity.

We are proud to use paper made in the U.S. that is 10% post-consumer. Our paper supplier is certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) and Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) for its sourcing methods. All of our paper is acid-free and archival quality for long-time storage of your collection.
